Tour offers

Our guests like and often book guided tours of Castle Wernigerode. The small and large special features of the castle and its former residents will be explained to you in an illustrative manner.

Classical tour

You will be expertly guided through the residential and representative rooms of the counts or princes of Stolberg-Wernigerode. You will learn about the architectural history of the castle and hear interesting details about its former residents. Individual rooms and objects will enable you to understand functions and processes in a noble household.

Fees
Within the castle opening hours, guided tours and admission to the castle are 8.00 € per person. Guided tours in English are subject to a tour surcharge of 3.00 Euro per person to the admission fee (i.e. 9.00 € p.p.). You can book tours starting at a group of 10 persons or a payment of 80 € / 90 € (English/Russian). Please register your tour request in advance.

Evening tour

An evening tour through the lit castle is particularly interesting. Everyday sounds are silent when you are virtually alone in the castle. Looking out the window, you will see the sea of lights of Wernigerode and the area around it.

Fees
From Easter to 6 November
starting at 6.00 PM: 10.00 € per person
starting at 10.00 PM: 12.00 € per person
From 7 November to Easter
starting at 5.00 PM: 10.00 € per person
starting at 10.00 PM: 12.00 € per person.
Evening tours are subject to a minimum fee of 170.00 €.
